Default RE: increasing draw weight?

People DO tend to get all wrapped up in this speed stuff. It's really simple. Lighter arrows... more speed, more noise, harder on the equipment. Every add on cost you a little speed. Peep tubing especially is a bummer. All said and done, the peeps, and leeches don't really hurt you a lot. Every extra pound of bow weight gets you a few feet per second. What are you trying to do? Have your bow the fastest you can regardless or what? Do you want a quiet bow? Do you want to take it easy on the quipment? When it's all said and done, if you're after speed go lighter arrow and max poundage, assuming you're up to it.
