Default RE: Deer on TV & in the woods

I have found that deer do stop or at least slow down before crossing small streams. One drawback to setting up on a creek crossing is that the noise of the stream makes it difficult to hear the deer as well.
And while hunting scenes are edited by the film makers, I have , on many occasions whispered into the microphone of my camera when filming deer at relatively close range. Inside 20yds. Now if I planned on shooting the deer, I would hold off until after the shot. I have been busted for talking into the camera at 10 yds, too!
