Awesome job Elkcrazy and Stealth. Isn't Nebraska a blast? I was there for opening day. The birds were in big groups-like 40-50 birds each. The toms were strutting, but non-receptive to decoys or calls. I watched two hens sit for tom. It's just a matter of time. I'll be chasing them in the Fall tomorrow. I'm off to New Zealand for Chamois and Tahr. I hope to find a unsuspecting South Pacific gobbler as well.
