Default RE: Poll on Quivers......

Still looking for the perfect quiver. Don't like Selway's slide-on's, Cat Quivers are too narrow for my broad behind and get in the way. Back quivers look good, but too noisy, get in the way in the woods, don't fit me right, and way too hot in the summer. Currently using a hip quiver, don't care for it either. Maybe I am too picky? Slide on quivers just make my longbow feel awkward (am thinking about a Great Northern strap-on though--seems to be a lot lighter), back quivers feel awkward/don't fit/get in the way, hip quivers snag and arrows get yanked out (sometimes without me noticing)......just traded for a heavy leather Lakota style (have tried those too, in light-weight leather), waiting to get it. This one might be the ticket--think it's called a Side Stalker?

Don't let me keep you from trying the quivers I mentioned--first, I am picky about how my bow feels. One reason I shoot a longbow is because it's really light and manuverable, and adding a quiver to it really changes both of those. Most back quivers don't fit me because of my build and I am really hot natured. Open hip quivers are a pain because of the woods I hunt in--honeysuckles, greenbriar, all kinds of vines and bushes, and it seems like all of them have hands grabbing for my arrows.

Sorry I am not more help--good luck!

Chad
