Ok, now that I agree with. You CANNOT shoot an arrow fast enough to beat a deer to the punch. If they are alert, and hear the string, they're gonna jump it. Plain and simple. They are much more likely to hear that string from 15 yards than 30...
TFOX, your 380 gr. arrows sound light, but how many grains per pound is that? If I recall, you don't shoot much poundage either....I'm thinking your "light" arrows are proportionately the same as my "heavy" arrows....
