Great job everyone, 1st place make me feel a little better about my PATHETIC season.

Yes it is in the contest thread and as it is right now we are a head by close to 57 points on the best bird per team member. ( sticky 2018 contest team scores) So last years winners need to have a new hunter bring in a nice size bird to beat us. There maybe someone that hasn’t scored a bird that has one already for all we know. But as it currently stands we are in a great spot.

I saw a big bird yesterday after working. Hopefully if I can get back out I can get him. He was alone walking the edge of a clearing and slipped into the woods. I am not sure if he will be right there again or not but will be watching for him.

I am still hunting and trying to connect with that big bird that I saw. I am not sure if it will upgrade the bird that I already have. But he is sporting at least an eleven inch beard if I can only catch him before he goes to roost. My season doesn’t end until June 2 nd. All these hours that I am currently working is making it hard on both me and the hunting. I have Tuesday off for a docs appointment and will have most of the day to try and get him to play.
I believe that VTBoneCollector is still hunting up until June 1st as well. We both are hoping to upgrade our birds.
