Ohio season starts a week from today. You're allowed 2. As soon as I get one, I'll go to WV to hunt. Allowed 2 there also.

Congrats on the birds car. I did something this weekend I haven't done in a long long time. I missed a bird. Granted the shot wasn't close, but I've made this shot many times before. I was just kind of stunned to see the gobbler run off after the shot. Oh well, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Joe, how many birds are you allowed to take on the island?

You can shoot 3 bearded birds during the spring season, Mar 1 - Apr 15. Jakes & bearded hens are legal. You can shoot up 2 a day. Tags are $20/tom for non-res. I mostly hunt the 2 public areas, A & G. It's tough enough to scratch 1 bird out.

During fall gamebird season, it's 1 a day, either sex. Weekends & holidays only from the first Sat in Nov until Sunday before MLK Day (or the 1st Sun after). Few upland hunters go after turkeys in the fall.

Way to go Uncle Nicki! Another big bird!

I am hopeful that the rest of us will be able to help the team out...
