Just like jamming a fast car into 3rd gear, dumping the clutch, and drilling the gas at 90mph, pulling the full weight of a longbow's bowstring back on your fingers gives you that same sense of "Yeahhhhh!" that automatics just can't provide. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> As to kills/recoveries, I've actually been more effective with stickbows than I was with compounds. It's all about choosing your shots wisely.
