This is just a "theoretical" question. I still haven't even bought a trad bow yet. (Hopefully this will be the summer!)

Anyways, here it is:
If you increase the brace height you will ever so slightly increase the poundage...but you also shorten the length and the time that the string pushes on the arrow. So, does raising the brace height have a possitive or negative affect on arrow velocity? I do realize that other considerations are the focus when trying to find the proper B.H.
