Did you insert the AA battery for the clock?

The big 6 volt only spins the broadcaster. I get really, really long battery life out of the 6 volt, almost 2 years.

The AA need replaced about once a year.

Make sure you do not spin the analog timer counter clockwise ( backwards), that will damage it. Maybe that's what happened!

I highly reccomend the American Hunter.
