When I installed my bisquit it paper tuned to perfect bullet holes in 6 shots. I also used a test arrow and fired it over 150 times and it had no damage whatsoever to the vanes. It had Bohning Blazers. One thing I did do when switching to a bisquit is switch to smoother finish shafts like Bemans and ACC since they make no noise on draw back. Your bisquit was 2 things, first it was not properly installed & squared off and secondly was the cheaper version. Buy the delux model and it has all the adjustment you need.
