It doesn't pay to scout? Nah... It always pays to scout. Just being there and seeing them is enough to get the excitement up. I scout deer and turkeyyear round. Mainly so I can understand their patterns, mannerism. I have learned an awful lot too. I can look at the body language and get a pretty good idea what they are going to do.
