Nicky, congrats on the bird. When you get a chance to get a pic and measurements up do so. Sounds like a cool hunt. WMH, sorry to hear that about your wife. Hope she is feeling better. There is nothing worse than stomach problems, IMO.

Nothing new (yet), I was just describing the bird on page 13. Thanks superstrutter.

Just spoke to a landowner today and she said that there was a nice tom in her yard Sunday AM and again this AM. I hope to get out there tomorrow am and take care of that one...

Scored in MA this AM on a nice tom off of the roost. I just entered him on the official post. Scores 60.875.
Weighed 20lb 6oz
One spur was 1.35"... the other was shorter and fatter at .75. Looks like he had an injury on that foot.

Default cheers to the killers

Uncle Nicky and Western Ma hunter, awesome birds, catching up to team 2. Good job on the run and gun on that bird Nicky, I've never had much luck with it...I usually get busted.

Thanks guys... didn't go today because I was pretty tired from yesterday and have to have my daughter to school for 7am. I didn't hear anything behind the house on the roost last pm. I wake this am to a gobble out my window. 3 hens in yard and nice longbeard strutting up on hill. If I had gone he would have been in our lap. I will listen tonight and possibly try to sit for the first hour tomorrow am.
Or Sat am up there if he is still around... I thought he got shot... he's a big boy...
