Checking in. After shoveling my driveway 3 times today with probably another couple inches of fresh snow waiting for me now, I'm ready for spring and turkey hunting!

JW here checking in - from WI - I hunt MI and WI - I used to travel to TN and GA but with the capability of getting 5 to 8 kill tags here......no reason to travel that far.

And I am a teacher - I am honored to be the presenter for the second year at a Learn to Hunt Program sponsored but a local NWTF Chapter, the WI DNR, and the Lake Noquebay Sportsman's club.

So let this game begin.

One week till opening day for me! We just had a winter storm yesterday that dumped a half inch of sleet and freezing rain on us. Today the high is 41 after an overnight low of 19. By Saturday the expected high is 75! Welcome to north Alabama weather!
