Default Update

Guys, I've been fighting computer issues. Frankly this PC is too old.

I will draw the names Friday to get this contest underway. I'm going to change it up slightly from the past. I use to go down the line and pull the names to complete the teams until the names ran out. This always left a team with just a few people in it. This time, I will adjust it so most teams will be full and a few teams will be a name short. That way when we pick up a few more people, I will fill all the teams full and cut off the sign ups. It will also allow me to put names on teams completely at random as I fill the teams with the late comers. This is opposed to putting all the late comers on one team to fill it.

Did that make sense?

Looking forward to another fun year of hunting!!!!!!

Thanks for that link but since the list was short, I did it my usual way.

For those that care, I print the master list and cut it up into a hat. I then pull 10 names at a time completely at random and cut and paste from the master list. This ensures I don't miss anyone.

This year, there were 51 names. So I pulled my name a side and made 5 teams. I will see who doesn't check back in as well as make an alternate list. But for now, let's hope these teams are a go!

Cheers!

Noticed that the turnout is low this year. May I would suggest allowing the other teams an extra member to make it more competitive? I say that humbly because we've won due to good participation (Not by monster bucks). Maybe if another team wins it will spark some more interest next year.
