Or he could get a Remington Model 700 CDL, which is a wood stock, in case he likes wood stocks better.

I thought about a composite stock on my gun, ut I chose a wooden, since I like those.

Another good gun would be a Remington Model 700 Mountain Rifle, good, laminate gun if you don't like it if wooden stocks chip or something, the laminate is supposed to be very durable, plus, it looks cool.
The Mountain Rifle also has a Detachable Magazine version, too, andboth versions are very light.
