That was left over from last year, but I'm willing to stay on as captain this year, unless someone else wants to do it.

It better start warming up around here or well all be hunting in snow camo in may . lol

Ain't that the truth. They are calling for another wintery blast this coming weekend. That is why I'm going to try and head to Texas in March and get a bird a little earlier in warmer weather!!:biggrin:

I should be pumped for turkey season to start however, another winter storm is about to hit here in Ohio. Kinda hard to think about turkey hunting when we're having weather like this!

Say I was thinking we had alot more teams last year. Anyone remember?

I guess we're going to have to hunt a little harder this season. Looks like we're still missing two hunters. Who is the first to start?

I'm fine with who ever wants to be captain.

My season is April 15 - May 31.

April 12th here in south Dakota. The state is cut the double tags though for my county but that's ok. I can still get a archery tag as well.

After March 10th I will add alternates to your team. Hopefully everyone will check in. Now give me your team name and I'll post it.

April 21st for me!

April 25th for Goldeneagle and I.

I pattered my gun today. I'm good to go with it. Still need to shoot my bow before season starts.

I'm not sure where Beard Bandits came from. As long as we're called champs at the end of the season, it doesn't matter to me, what we are named.

saw a flock of birds 2 weeks ago and it was a mix, this morning saw the same flock and all hens (about 20) and 1 long beard who was already strutting. guess this means a lot of satellite gobblers will be looking for hens. would like team member opinions.

Oh man! Had 5 long beards walking through my woods today. I'm pumped!! Well I shouldn't be because most years I'll have turkey in my wood lot right up until a few days before season starts then they move on to bigger woods. Last year was the opposite, no turkey until the day before opening day. So I went in work late opening day. Dead bird, end of story. :)

Gonna try and get to texas the first part of the week for a couple of days of warmer weather and hopefully a little turkey hunting.
