Sorry about not getting one for the team this year. Hunted approx. 25 days this year and no joy. I did have an amazing thing happen on the last day, had a gobbler coming in and a hawk, I think either a coopers hawk or a red tailed hawk swooped down and hit the hen decoy! Guess it's tag soup this year.

I've got until this Sunday. Went yesterday and only saw a hen. Rain and 20 mph winds this morning, so I'm sitting in front of the computer lol.

Well I hit a doe with my truck this morning on my way to the turkey woods. Do I get any points for it? The doe and the truck are fine. How are we doing as a team, does anyone know?

I'm done, worked a tom for 2 1/2 hrs this morning. I had a hen pissed off at my calling. She and I went at it for over 30 minutes. It was fun, that's when the tom started gobbling. Thought maybe I would get him in but no deal. That tom was the first gobbling I heard all week. Good luck to the rest of ya. Go team 1.

I'll be back out Tuesday, looking for my second bird. I'm going to a new farm. Owner says she is seeing a lot of birds, I'll can only hope.

A limited spring bear season is on about 6-8 hours north of me. It's a trial season in a few townships.
