I suppose we should find a Captain. It doesn't bother me who, I can even be if no one else want to. But we should probably name sometime so they can report no shows, deer, etc.

Almost. Your still measuring wrong though. You have 2 G4 measurements on a 4x4. You don't measure the 4th point. That is supposed to be part of the main beam length. Also you have an H-4 measurement on each side. Also incorrect. Check out your buddy Deernuts post. He did it right. subtract those measurements and you'll be good to go.

I thought that you take an H4 either between the thrid and fourth point or half way between the third point and beam tip if fourth point is missing

It's supposed to be a fun contest dude. Mines a 8 point his is a 8 point his is much larger but scored the same way. You done killed it for me. Thanks quacker.:throw: forget it.

Hey olive nice buck and congrats. I looked at the posts and what quack was trying to tell you is with a 8 pt there aren't going to be G4 or H4 measurements. A 10pt would have those. Either way congrats buddy.

Yes. Wasn't being a dick. Just getting everyone to measure the correct way. Even in a friendly contest things should count the same way.

:confused0024:Lol Thanks deernutz well the 2 scores in question equal 5 points so I have written to admin and told them to deduct it off the seers score. So hopefully that will satisfy this and put it to sleep.

Olive theres nothing to worry about. Like you said it is for fun very true, but i dont think quack meant anything disrespectful towards you. In the end we are team 9.

That's rite long day sorry tried to figure up the deer with news that my good friend who came back from Iraq shot n killed his self so it was tough day. No disrespect meant lilquack

Yea it sucks sad world sometimes. A man comes back after giving his all everyday for years for our country and goes to the va and is told it's gonna be about 60 days to get you seen. Its just crazy.

Sorry been real busy as of late. Olive Im sooo sorry to hear about your friend. I spent a total of 32 months in Iraq over 2 deployments and do understand what was going through his head. Its a very complex situation that not many can understand. Man no words can explain it. Hang in there buddy!!!

Haven't had a lot of time for hunting yet, but was able to get my 12 year old son on a nice yearling a few weeks ago. His first bow buck, I think that was more exciting for me than getting one myself.
