Well, I haven't been around much since last season, but I have checked in from time to time. My name is Johnny and I'm from west Tennessee. I retired from the Navy in 2008 and I've worked at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis since then.

I'll be hunting Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Missouri (in that order).

Kentucky's season opens this Saturday, but I won't hunt until the weekend of the 20th. This next weekend is just too early for my taste and it's been too warm. The next weekend I'll be in Monterey, CA for my daughter's graduation from the Defense Language Institute. After that it will be game time.

I'll start in Kentucky and then branch out from there. What about the rest of you?

all private land in Illinois. 4 different farms I hunt hard till after the first shotgun season, then switch over to ducks, then will jump back in a stand for late season

Private land in Illinois...... must be nice. :)

It aint to shabby. We've had a little bit of CWD in the area the past couple years. Hoping nothing too severe though.

Where is the private land you hunt?

LaSalle/Grundy I just saw your Chicago Bow Hunters, didn't know if you traveled down this way to Morris Wetlands or Mazonia.

I don't. Did some consulting work for a bank in Grundy Co. The quantity of deer we are seeing in Jo Davies was just too good to pass up.

Here I am! Wisconsin bow opens Saturday.

Guess I was on team 1 last year, never changed the icon back. So we should figure out a team name.

Just got back from 10 days in jamaica from our honeymoon. Sorry for the late check in.

I've got 3 bucks from last year I would harvest. 2 I know made it, the 160ish 15 point I'm not sure if he is still out there.

under two weeks for us in Illinois. Those are some nice deer GolfPro, that one has some awesome mass to him.

DoubleLung55 checking in, sorry have been busy working and havent had time to get on here lately. Hunting SW and NC PA. Going to Iowa after christmas for Muzzleloader. Also may hunt WV and OH.

What does a team captain have to do? I can be it if no one else wants to depending on what needs to be done.

I am ok with who ever wants to be captain.

Well guys, I drilled a big doe at 25 yards at 7:15 this afternoon. She didn't make it 30 yards. I'll get pics up when I get home.

Well guys, I got the doe posted in the score thread. All I had were crappy pics, but I picked the least crappy one.

As far as a team name, we could use a team name that I used last year on another forum. The name was Nock Stars.

I know my rages will be tearing up some bucks this fall. Anyone else shoot rages?

I like nock stars too, would like to have some kind of killing factor in the name personally.

I'm fine with any team name. I still have a week left before the season starts here in OKlahoma.
