I got a statewide buck permit and an antlerless only permit and it comes with a bonus tag. So I now have a chance for 3 deer with the bow!

Team 6 scored the first harvest of the season. Deernutz took a buck that scored 126.5. That's a pretty respectable start. So game on yall. Ryan & Jared are both already hunting too, so we'll be expecting some big points on the board from yall. No pressure, lol. Have a great weekend afield & good luck. Yall be safe.

I should've slept in. Perfect when I got there but then came the thunder and lightning. I sat through it but I failed to see anything. I don't even know if I see any birds flying around. Its just beginning though.

It sucks when you don't see anything at all. Usually the birds, porcupines, squirrels, etc. keep me occupied until the deer show up. It makes for a long sit when absolutely nothing is moving.

Sorry for yall who sat in a stand this weekend & didn't have any luck, but Im guessing it was still a blast to just be out in a stand again. Its only just started though, so stay at it & enjoy every moment of it.

I would like to but not sure if I'll get out this weekend or not. Winds are suppose to be high and I hate sittin in a swaying tree when deer probably aren't moving. Just have to watch the hourly forecast to see if I can get a couple hours in. Great pics by the way!
