My wife bought me a Rem. 7600 pump in .35 whelen for Christmas several years back. The next fall I shot a small 4X4 mule deer buck with it and a 5X5 170+ net B&C whitetail buck. It kicks a bit at the range but as usual I don't notice any kick while shooting at game with it.
