Here's the necessary pix: left spur, right spur, beard and full body shot.

It took a bit of work. I couldn't get him or the longer bearded tom to break away from 7 hens. I waited for 1.5 hrs hoping they'd move towards the trees they were kinds walking towards when I spotted them. Once the hens filtered downhill, the two toms followed. I stalked after them, only to have a cow suddenly enter the scene from my right, trotting towards me.

The turkeys spooked, and so I popped over the edge of the bowl and busted the tom who stopped to look back. 35-40yds with 3" Rem. Wingmaster HD #6 (my Briley x-full turkey choke loves this stuff)

I'm hoping to bust a bigger one in AL next month.

Checking in, I’ll be hunting Illinois. I too was on the team that won the bow hunting contest this year.
Congrats to Joe to be the first to connect, I still have to wait another month and a half.

I guess I'll step up and be the team captain. I've participated in the contest for several years, so it's about time.

Does anyone have any objections "Fan-glorious Flockrz" as our team name?

Please PM me your personal e-mail and a snail mail address.
