The Deer are starting to show up in the day.
Does for now, hopefully the bucks will be coming around soon.

Went yesterday and saw three different bucks chasing does. I have one buck tag left, so I'm being picky. One of the bucks was a nice one with tall tines, but I decided not to shoot.

NY season opens tomorrow hope to have good season.

Killed my second 8 point this past weekend. It scores a little higher than my first, so I will replace my first one with this buck. He scores 126. I shot him on the power-pipeline on my property at 420 yards with my Browning A-Bolt .270 WSM.

No luck for me yet. Wrecked my car last friday(evening before opener) so hunting plans were messed up. Good luck guys!

I got a doe for us last Saturday. I haven't put the picture on my computer yet but I should have it posted soon. Forgot all about it actually. She was a pretty good sized doe, probably 3 1/2 yr old. Shot her with a Browning A bolt .260. Glad to have a little meat in the freezer. Hopefully I can bust another one this weekend. A buddy of mine reported strutting and gobbling longbeards at my place this morning so I'm gonna try and put some turkey on the dinner plate tomorrow.

I found out that the big 8 made it from last year, only to get hit on the interstate.
I had to take my son to be in a parade or I would have called the highway patrol, and got a note saying I could have him.
But before I could get back to him, some jerk already cut his head off.
That made me sick. :s6:
Looks like they would take the whole thing, not just the head.
