We seriously need to drop this 25pt doe thing. There are people on here shooting 2 or 3,4 etc does for points. Yes it is good to harvest does and manage your herd. Here is the problem though. You have to pic and choose old mature does. Theres a couple on here that still have spots! Are you serious? Also, EHD has done a number on the deer herds here in the midwest. People need to police themselves and keep doe harvesting to a minimum this year. Fill your freezer then call it quits. I didnt think it hurt the pop to bad here in SOuthern Iowa but holy crap! Since the harvest began it is nothing for a farmer to find 20-25 deer dead in a field. People are not seeing near the numbers. On the hunt or on cams Its time for us to do our part as hunters. Pick and choose. Dont just shoot a doe to give your team 25pts on huntingnet.com. Is it really that big of deal?

only one doe counts for the contest so they aren't shooting them just for the contest..Here in Story county we didn't have EHD hit us and our herd numbers are still high.

ah ok thanks then were good. I was looking through the pics seeing people with multiple does and was getting concerned. Thanks for helping me out yotehunter

yep.. on the contest people who posted multiple pictures were probably captians who posted for their team
