Well Joe, at least you were able to get out. Hope the weather improves and good luck on your next outing. You just never know when one will pop out.
Steve, why is it so archaic in PA? At least the tags aren't hand written. Go smack a doe now.

Headed out for my first sit in the morning. Supposed to be pretty cold for early October, looking forwad to it. Good luck to everyone else.

Made it out for my 1st sit of the season. Saw a few does from a distance but nothing close... Setup a couple of trail cams and hung a few more stands.

Good feeling to finally get out!

Sat this weekend. Saw a handful of does and a nice 7 pointer, but not nice enough. Sounds weird saying nice 7 pointer, but he was probably 18" wide, 11" G2's, descent brows....but nothing more. The weather was nice and cool...but it is still early season no matter how you dice it. Will probably take a couple weeks off before hitting it hard late october/early november.

Been out a few times and have seen nothing much but a few does that never gave me a shot. I plan on going back out this Thursday evening. My goal is to get a doe on the ground and then focus on bucks late october/november and then go back to does in december

I still have not been out. Maybe this weekend.
My buddy was out for youth gun season. They passed on alot of young bucks. They are already digging scrapes in the timber. Here is a shooter scraping it up.
