Well I am on two teams so who knows which one i am going to be booted to!

My name is Shawn, and I also hunt and live in the great BUCKEYE state of OHIO!!!!! Unfortunately this year my camera's have given me fits and I only have a few pics of some does and some smaller bucks. I do have a pic of what looks to be like a 120" 2 year old but he is definitely passer for another year or so. Anyways don't fret because I have been seeing alot of nice bucks and i will post a pic of a 8 pointer that looks to be 180" this year. The pic is from early July of last year. But, I have seen him this sumer and he is much bigger and he is still an 8 pointer. Last year I had him broadside at 15 yards but I already nailed my 144' 12 point 3 days earlier so he got a free pass. I have also seen several other nice bucks on the two properties I hunt on that range between 130"-160" It should be another great year!!!!! I also put down alot of does so if they are allowed I will definitely be helping out in that area as well. NIce meeting you all so far and hopefully we all put down monsters this year!!!!!

Well trail cams were a bit dissapointing. One doe and a half arse pic of a buck way off in the background, could tell it had antlers and that was about it. Not too discouraged tho, i know they are there. Will check again next weekend.

About me: My name is Christine. I hunt on public land in Central IL. It's earn-a-buck so I have to tag an antlerless before I try for a buck. Hopefully, I can get my doe early on in October. I'm not a big buck slayer but I'll do my best to tag a buck over 100" for the team. There are some nice bucks where I hunt but getting one inside my 25 yard range can be a heck of challenge.

So it looks like backwoods is pretty much locked into the captain's spot, and I like Natural Born Killers as well.

Here is a pic of my number 1 hit list buck. Mind you that this pic was off of my cam from July 8th of 2011. I have been having all kinds of problems with my camera's and all of usual spots is corn. I have been to the fields and I have seen this monster. He is still an 8 point and he is 180", I'm guessing. He has blown up into a giant. Last year I had him broadside at 15 yards but I had shot my 144" 12 pointer 3 days earlier so I had to give him a free pass. I know where he lives and he is definitely my #1 hit lister. I also have several others I have glassed that range between 130" - 160" that I will not hesitate to take out. Hopefully the Monster 8 walks past me first. I will also be checking my camera's again this week and hopefully they are finally working right and in good spots. I will post any good pics.
