Ross checking in here, i hunt 1500 private acres in north La., practically out my back door where i have lived all my life, even got a feeder 250 yards off my back porch, and hunt 1400 acres of low fenced private land in west texas, My cameras tell me this is gonna be a good year. I have 30 days of vacation starting with opening day of gun season, so i should "rack" up...pun intended:party0005:

Well guys the Wisconsin rifle season is only 10 days away. I scouted and bowhunted a piece of public land yesterday and ended up finding these. Man would I love to tag this buck gun or bow would be fine by me.

One week from today NY season starts. Can't wait. Hardwood and WNY what part of NY will you be hunting?

Hey NJ camo, I will be hunting in ellicottville and orleans county. Getting ready and can't wait. Scored on a nice little 8pt with the bow and now its time to let the gun do it's magic (hopefully lol).

Well good luck. I will be up in Steuben county in Dansville/Sparta area. Only one doe so far with the bow this year. The gun will solve some of those range problems for shure. Can't wait.

well it has been a pretty depressing season so far. I have seen 1 deer and missed that one. anyways back at it tomorrow how is everyone else doing?

NY was a bust for me. Went out last Sat through Mon morning. Sat & Sun were extremely windy and Sun was warm. Saw 4 deer that were out of range Sunday afternoon and that was it. Not sure if I will make it back out in NY. NJ season starts 1 week from Monday. Looking for some better results.

Opening day I passed up a doe, fawn, forkhorn, and a spike. I didn't see another live buck all rifle season. I did manage to harvest this doe on public land yesterday. So we should have 50 points. Hopefully I can get out with the smoke pole and get a buck yet.

well nothing so far have one more gun hunt in the end of dec. here, hope i can get something down.

well I shot this doe yesterday with the muzzeloader. we have 6 days left in our season so there is time to see a set of antlers still.
