RE: swift a frame bullets
I've shot a deer with a .277 cal 150gr A-Frame and an elk with a 225gr .338 A-Frame. Performance was exceptional in both. Neither grouped quite as well as Partitions in the rifles I loaded them for, but they were close and I didn't spend nearly as much time on load development as I did with the Nosler bullets. I would think that given an equal amount of effort, they would be at least as accurate.
Vapodog - You are right when you say that there isn't a better bullet going. But a few are just as good, and if they group well in your rifle, whatever they are, smile and use them. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
