RE: New Illinois State Buffalo record
Wow that is wierd. Our state record is 62lbs 1oz. Huh yeah I wonder why that is that Illinios fish are so small. An average buff around here is like 20-25lbs prolly... Say you guys ever run into any black buffalo. I've shottwo before and I've seen a few. My cousin shot one a few years ago that was huge (like 40 some or 50lbs) and he was gonna have it mounted and put on display in the school but the DNR found out he had it and took it. (Black buffalo are illegal to have because they are like endangered or something but you can't get introuble for shootiong one because the rules are that when shooting fish like that you can't identify them not to be black buffalo when you think they are normal buffalo). My cousin shot a WI record dog last year too but he didnt think about it bein a record so they left it on an island because they were in a 2fishbig carp tourny. It was 11lbs 9oz and thecurrent record is 11lbs 4oz. WCL
