Well one more weekend for me to get a bird! We are suppose to have good weather this weekend so hopefully I can stick one with the bow. If not, oh well, I have several more years to come to get one.

Well sorry guys but no turkey... This has probably been about the best weekend for weather this whole season... and it was still cloudy today. I did get some entertainment out of this weekend, I had a hen walk probably 6 feet if closer to me. It was pretty neat to see a turkey up close like that and still be alive.

Sadly, yes. Sunday was the last day. I hunted every possible momment I could without being rained on but never got er done. I had some close momments this year and some good memories to go along with it. Better luck next year though.

Now im getting ready for deer season.

Yeah Iowa closed the season on sunday, sadly I wasn't able to connect during 4th season, the first 4th season tag I didn't fill since 2002. But at least I got one this spring. Had a lot going on later on and only got out twice during the last season. The weather was terrible both days. Was great the last two days but I wasn't able to go or I'm pretty sure I could've connected on a bird I THINK I had figured out. lol. I love summer, but it is always hard to let go of spring. Is anybody still hunting on our team?

I think sirtoby (Ed) is still after em in Mass. We sure had a good season!! It was pleasure being on the team with you guys. It's "fishin" time!!!!
