I received the spring turkey contest stickers in the mail so I will need an address for each of you so that I can send your sticker!

Got a jake last weekend. It was tough hunting here in Oklahoma with 70+ mph wind gust on Friday. Wasn't seeing or hearing anything til 5:00 p.m. on Saturday when I had 5 jakes come in. I was hunting on public land so I wasn't being picky. I hit him with some #5 shot at 30 yards. From the time I heard the first gobble to when I shot him was about 10 mins. It is a Rio and he weighted in at 15 lbs, 4 1/2" beard, and 1/4" spurs.

Bad news guys... After I went to class yesterday my dad cleaned my turkey before I got pictures with it. I have a feeling that I won't be able to count it

My trip to NE was awesome but short. I killed 3 on the first day we were there. Pulled my very first double and then doubled with my cousin later that day. We killed 5 longbeards the first day. My dad will post pics later. My merriams weighed 19 1/2, 18 1/2, and 18.
Spurs were all 3/4" and beards were 9, 8 3/4, and 7 1/2".
NWTF SCORE OF 52.5, 51.0, & 48.00
Also finished out here in MO this morning, killed a 21 lber, with a 10 1/2" beard and 7/8" spurs. That makes 6 birds for me this year. 3 merriams in NE, 2 easterns in MO, and 1 rio in TX.
