Howdy Folks, Just checking in. Some of you know me. Any questions, feel free to ask. I ran this contest, some years back. I will be hunting over 20,000 acres in Mo. As some of you know, I work for a hunting outfitter, and guide for turkey hunts. I prefer not to be captain of the team as my time is very limited at that time of the year. If the captain needs help, I'll do what I can.

I'm here! I'm Bill. I'll be hunting in my home state of Minnesota, and will also be hunting in South Dakota and Wisconsin. Going to try and do a hunt in Nebraska, but with the way gas prices are starting to go nuts, the pocket book might not allow for that. I'm fine with gun870guy being our captain since he is willing to take on the job.

That's the plan! This is my first year in the competition here, and the year I'm gonna have the least amount of time to hunt. College classes + work, but I'm still holding high hopes for the season!

Im ok with the name and from what i understand ther is no limit in NZ where I will be hunting them how ever turk is not my prioraty sorry but ill do my best to bust a huge one for our team as well as as many as possible they all add up

Heading out tomorrow for season opener. Took a youth last Sat and had birds gobblin' all around us. Called in 4 2 y/o's and let the little fella lay the hammre down. Hopefully we can get this team on the board. When does everyone elses season open?

Sorry team, I struck out over the last few days. I hope I can get out there one more time, but I have other stuff going on right now that is keeping me busy.
I heard them gobbling a little but not a whole lot. I'm hearing the same thing from other hunters in the same area. Not a lot of people in my circle having success. I had one pretty close on Sunday morning, but he decided to go the other way. I think he may have seen me. |
