Default What Size of Stake For Trapping?

Do ya'll use different size stakes depending on what the intended targeted animal you're trying to trap or do ya'll just use one size of stake throughout your line? The biggest thing I'm going after is coyotes but I'm targeting coons, bobcats, & foxes as well. I cut up some metal rods last night into 12" lengths to start with coons but came across some more metal rods today to make more stakes out of & thought I'd ask before cutting them up as well.
