On vacation at 2:25pm today. Going to hit it hard in the morning bow hunts all next week. You might not here from me for a few days, but hopefully will come up with a doe for sure, but looking for a 11 pointer the landowner told me that he has on camera, actually there is 2 of them. Weather looks good for next week, early morning will be in the mid 40's. So I'm going to be enjoying the outdoors. Got a stand near several acorn trees and and a sorghum field with purple peas. Good luck to you guys next week, lets see what we tag.

I'll be out there in the morning also. Wind isn't very good for me but oh well. Can't see or shoot em from my couch. I'm going to give the decoy a try. Might be a little early but then again, maybe not.

seen 6 nice doe but not in shooting distance. the time is here for the pre-rut in about a week. imo

Well I just scouted tonight covering ground on the dirt roads and didnt see a single buck. I must have seen 50 does and no bucks. Getting cold at nights so the RUT is almost here. Will take the 26,27 off so I can hunt the pre rut.

Had a small 2x3 come into 5 yards of my decoy. But he had a free pass. Fun just watching him trying to figure out why that deer wasn't moving. Then took a shot at a doe but my arrow hit a branch and did a nose dive to the dirt. I was close but oh well I guess.
