hey guys, thought i would start this off, I'm Ron from Manitoba, looking forward to getting to know everyone!

First time doing this and I have a question.Can we just enter only one doe?Guess I'll have to try and find someone to score the bucks.

I own property in deer rich Union Parish, less than an hour from my home. I should be able to contribute for the team. Good luck to everyone and lets take the title this season. We need a captain. Ok, rifle season starts today... Who wants me to go ahead and bag a doe?

Your rifle season is already open? Seems kind of early. As for you being captain, that's fine with me. As for you shooting a doe, that's up to you. I'm going to try and take two does with my bow. I may try for a third with my muzzleloader before rifle season opens, which I can add to our points. Once rifle season opens, I will not shoot a doe.

wow that is an early rifle season, our Muzzleloader season opens Oct 19th and Rifle Nov 9th, still some time to wait...good luck!!

any name is fine with me. Im just starting to get into gear for next months firearm season. My stand is in an excellent spot, and Im getting excited. On numerous occasions I have seen 10+ bucks at one time running all over the area that my stand is on. Some of them have been up to at least 170 inch deer. But Ill probably get a darn 115 or something haha.

Nothing wrong with a darn 115 incher, but i guess after you have seen 150 inch plus bucks, he looks a little small. If a 115 walks by me, he's probably going down. Good luck with that 170.

So what do you all agree with on the team name?

Shoot we're still in bow season until Thanksgiving,wish I could take out my smoke pole.

Almost took out a doe yesterday. She was facing straight on and I didnt want to take a chance on the shot. The rut is getting ready to start here. Hopefully I will get a big boy soon.

Haven't checked in lately. How's everyone doing? Any deer yet?

congrats man. thats some points for us!

I killed a 6 point last weekend with my ML, but I don't want to enter him unless I have to. I should be able to get something better. He's not a bad deer, but there was some ground shrinkage. He was in a thick area, so I really thought he was larger than he turned out to be. I'm still proud of him though.
