Thanks Western MA Hunter. Just finished butchering the doe. No, didn't get any pictures as I had to load up the doe for a 5 hour ride home and get it skinned out to cool. Didn't get to bed until 3 am. Probably forgot to mention I shot the doe with my bow so it doesn't count for points in this contest. Gun season doesn't start in Wisconsin for 5 more weeks.

Just an update on my status. Muzzleloader season opens the 24th of October and runs through November 1st and gun season runs from November 21st through December 6th here in Oklahoma. I've been bowhunting and seeing alot of does and just a few bucks so far but I'm in a prime stand location that has produced several good bucks in the past few seasons and I'm starting to see more buck sign so I'm optimistic about my chances to kill a good one. Anyway good luck to the rest of you and hunt safe.

Our gun season does not start until the Monday after Thanksgiving here in MA...
NY is the week of Thanksgiving.
Again, I will be in New Brusnswick Nov 2 - 7 w/ the new Browing X-Bolt 7mm Rem Mag in hand! Hopefully I put one down early up there... then it's back to the bow for 3 more weeks.
Went w/ bow to CT last night.. saw a couple of does, but no shots...
Bow opens here in MA on Monday. NY next Sat...
can't wait.

oh ok well i forgot to mention my muzzleoader season which is october 17 to october 21 or something like that my first year with a ML and I got a good spot where i think i'll see some good bucks within range i am borrowing one of my dads good buddies muzzleoader many thanx to him!
