We are on the board! Big buck down !! Bagged this bad boy on Thursday morning (the date and time on the pic is slightly off). Sorry that I'm just now getting around to posting it. Here is a pic.

120 5/8 was the score the taxidermist gave me. My best in three years. Posting it in the official score thread right now....

I stroke a 12 point last night I think I will put a gun with it and post it here. But just between us I shot with a crossbow at 85 yards pics to follow.

Thanks for the great comments guys. I'm just glad to have a big guy like that down. So now I feel like alot of the pressure is off me. Switching to the old stick and string for a while now. Gotta help my brothers in the bowhunting contest.

Pulled back on one last nite. As he got closer, saw that he was only a 6pt. So I go to let my bow down and "THWANG!!!", the string popped off the pulleys. That has never happened to me before. The buck spooked a little and scurried off. But what really sucked is that I'm left there with a bow that won't work and no way to restring it in the stand, and a nice 8pt walks right under me trailing the 6 point. Man, it was sad. All I could do was watch.

Mcraddock,
Tough break, but at least your weren't injured. I've heard of some pretty nasty injuries from limbs exploding, strings breaking, etc when problems occur. Congrats again on your deer. Good luck with the remainder of archery season.
