Time for everyone to check-in. This is my 16th year going hunting and I cannot wait. I picked up a new 30-06 this spring and I am excited to take a deer with it. I am hunting in Minnesota.

Hatchet Jack is all in. I hunt in PA. We can only shoot 1 buck in Pa. We only have a 2 week rifle season for Bucks and a late Flintlock season if you still have a Buck tag!

MTairman checking in...I'll be taking leave in Nov. to head up to Montana to hunt mulies during the rut. If I'm unsuccessful at mulies my father-in-law has a killer whitetail spot that I'll try. Can't tell you how pumped I am.

The first time I can hunt deer with a rifle is the end of November. IF I have a Buck tag. You can only shoot one buck in PA. PA hunters are not so good to have on your team in this contest!

I recommend Arrowmaster as our captain. Will you accept? Does someone else want to do the captain job or have another nomination. I personally trust Arrowmaster and have been on his teams before.

Then you can work with the mods to find out if we need to get some alternates or something.

Sure Id be honored, if the rest of the team is ok with that.

Hey guys, I am here. Sorry, I have been spending all my time in the bowhunting forum and forgot about this contest. My best oppurtunity to shoot a nice buck will probably be with a rifle or ML. The little time I will have off to hunt will be during rifle season. I haven't seen any shooters yet, just a couple 3 yr. old 130" +/- 8 points. They need another year or two in my opinion. We usually always get a good buck or two come through during rut that we have never seen. It is just a matter of being there at the right time. Glad to be a part of the team and I will keep you guys updated whenever I have updates.

Im goin to post the mia. Ive sent pm's to them.

I have only had one oppurtunity to hunt this year and shot a doe with my bow within the first hour of my hunt this last Saturday. I was completely out of venison in the freezer and she will be a great, tasty addition to fill that void.

just checking back in...I'll be hunting for a few days longer than I thought, I am very confident that I won't get skunked. We definately need a team name. If I think of something good I'll be sure to post it.

Hey guys, sorry i havent been posting much here. Ive been in the bowhunting forum and kinda forgot about this contest. I got a buck yesterday morning with the bow. But a couple days before, i hit a really nice buck above the spine and didnt get him, and im really hoping to get another shot at him with the rifle. Here's my buck from yesterday.



Rifle season starts Nov 14, im really lookin foward to it.

I shot this 8pt with my bow on Friday. You can only shoot one buck in PA. Sorry guy's but I'm done for the season hunting Bucks! Good Luck to you all and I hope you do well! BE SAFE and I will keep tabs on the team!!
