Well today I got my stand set up for rifle season. There was fresh tracks in the snow that fell yesterday and last nite. Our rifle season starts Nov. 21. I like to get my stand in early so I don't have to worry about it and so I can bowhunt as much as possible. My friend that owns land that butts up to the county forest where I do most of my gun hunting is starting to get some good pics of a handfull of good bucks. The one has a really heavy rack.

Rifle starts here on the 14th. May be a tough year. We've been having so much rain the farmers aren't getting the corn out. Its been making it tough on bow hunting, so I'm hoping for some dry weather and the farmers kick it in the butt.

Has anyone had any luck yet. I missed opening day in Ga a few weeks ago due to a virus, many of my friends over there shot deer because the weather was perfect and they were moving hard. I have been a couple times so far but haven see anything. It was 80 the frist time and 70 last week. I am going out again this weekend and the weather is going to be alot more cooperative so i have a good feeling I can get us some points.
