Hey guys. I posted this on the bowhunting forum but just in case you didn't see this post, here ya go. I checked the trail cam after about a month yesterday and was happy to have "Lucky" still hitting the mineral lick. I've had this deer on camera all year and have been privileged to watch him grow. Hopefully I'll see him during legal hours.
Here's "Lucky"

Just found out I was drawn for a 2 week permit in a National Wildlife refuge. From Oct 3rd to 17th. I put in for the month of Oct, but will settle for the first two weeks. I've hunted here before and have seen some big bucks through my binocs on private land, but nothing big up close. I arrowed a decent 6pt there 3 years ago and have found some monster sheds. I'm pumped for this area!!!
