Well, the goose opener was a bust, saw some birds, but they were not interested in what we were selling. LOTS of season left though. Going walleye fishing this weekend, then putting the rods up until next year, and its on to deer for me.

Too bad about goose opener. I did a little dove hunting over the past few days and have been fortunate enough to put away a couple dozen birds. My first time dove hunting and it has been a blast. Something you guys should try if you havent ever. Less than a month to opener of bow, its time to put everything else on the back burner

ok people I am back. I had a unexpected trip to Western New York up near the Falls come up. My fiancee's grandmother passed and we went up for services and everything. What is normally a beautiful trip to beautiful country was failry somber this time.

Anyway I saw some bruisers while we were ther and gained permisson to hunt a few farms if it make it back up that way during season lol.

Season starts on Saturday and I cant wait to get in the woods. I have only seen one buck at the place I hunt near the house. However I have 2 other places to hunt. One place has a monster roaming around so hopefully I will get a shot at him. The other place we have pictures of ten different bucks six of which are wall hangers. Only problem is I wont get to hunt it but maybe 3 or 4 weekends. I am stoked and cant wait. Hopefully I will get a good one for the team.

Had planned to get all my stands up today, but ended up helping a friend of mine get a giant oak moved that was blocking his creek and washing the bank out. 4 hours later, I never got off the couch the rest of the day because I F'ed up my back something fierce. Should be better in a few days I hope, but man, does it hurt right now, all across my hips and ass cheeks. Nice guys really do finish last!
