I have been 4 mornings and 2 afternoons this week and have not seen the first deer...quite frustrating.

Going again in the morning with the wife...if we get a doe within 20, it is her go...otherwise, I will be doing the honors.

Good luck in the morning, Bible Man. They should be moving tomorrow morning here, its gonna cool down a bunch. I won't get out til tomorrow afternoon though. I passed on a doe last time out cuz I had the buck down, if she walks by again tomorrow, she won't be so lucky...

Went yesterday morning with nothing but rain. The wife and I went again this afternoon after church and we spooked 3 walking in...still didn't see them. This was my first time on one of the properties I hunt which I have exclusive rights to...old ladies at church are such a blessing to me! Saw a line or rubs though, and left my climber hanging about 25 yards off the trail line. Headed out in the morning again. Sooner or later, it will happen...I refuse to get frustrated!

Hang in there Bible Man, sounds like you have a great spot. Saturday was a great day to be in the stand but I didn't see anything moving til about a half hour before sunset. Saw a couple does feeding about 100 yards away pretty close to where I was sitting on opening day. 15 min later, had a couple feeding 60-70 yards from my stand. I was thinking I might get a shot after all, but they faded away as it got dark. Oh well, I still had backstraps for dinner last night
