Yeah spotting is a good way to get an estimate on deer numbers and what kind of bucks are roaming your woods. The smart ones stay in the woods even at night. I was after a big ten for the past two years and only saw him on trail cam. Never spotlighted him at night. He knew not to spend much time in the open. He ended up getting hit by a car around halloween last year. Taped him out at 151" ..thats a brute for PA..

That sounds like a great hunt Chad - I still love the goat you took last year!

Glad you guys are seeing some, that would have been a toad of a PA buck! Best of luck guys

Hi Guys,
I'm checking in. Glad to be added. I missed the original sign up by a few days so I've been waiting several weeks to get placed.
I live & hunt in South Central PA and also hunt on our lease in Guernsey County, Ohio. Ohio season starts on Sept.26th. I'm getting pumped.

Welcome. I live right down the road from you in Chambersburg and will be hunting in your backyard. I wasn't able to get into Letterkenny this year so I had to find a new place. Decided to check out the game lands 169 up near you. I found what looks to be a fairly decent spot. Anyway again welcome to the team.

Hi Ron3775,
Thanks for the welcome. You are just down the road. I used to Dove Hunt in 169 but I've never done any deer hunting there. I know when rifle season comes it's like a pumpkin patch. I wish you best of luck this season.
