Saw 2 shooters come out of the same slough the other night and take off like they were on a mission... Things are getting close boys, hope everyone is able to spend time in the stand - things should really start to heat up shortly!!!

I hunted last Monday morning, had 2 does being chased by 2 little 6 points run right under my stand. There's a bruiser out there around that farm, I saw him one late afternoon, but I have yet to get on his trail or see him again since right before the season. Good Luck!
This coming weekend is Youth only, so I won't likely get to hunt again until the 7th, but you are right, it's getting ready to heat up!!!!

Just starting to hunt now. I saw a slammer on Saturday but as he was coming in the neighbors were coming out. Bumped him out so I'm hoping to get him out tomorrow. Then It's up north for my big hunt. Good luck to all.

I got the message Jason thanks and good luck 1 of these years he is going to get a 16 point buck. I'm off to the great north woods of Wisconsin tomorrow. I'll have cell service when I go into town so keep me up to date. Good luck boys let's 3 peat this thing.

I don't want to spoil all the details, but I will say that 16pt has once again downed a beauty and I'm sure he'll post when he is able (of course he's most likely several days out). I had a pic on my phone but as luck would have it, my phone was acting up today and I had it swapped out tonight (wanted to take care of it before my trip) - so no longer have the pic to try and forward on.... Anyone heard anything from David?
I'm running around the house like mad, trying to make sure I don't forget anything so I'm sure you all know how that goes. Taking off for KS mid day tomorrow - will then have 9 days of nothing but time to hunt. Like many of you, this is the time of year I wait for!!
If anyone is out in the stand next week and within cell range feel free to drop me a txt. Drop me a PM if you don't have my digits. Dan or Mike know it too...
