Hey Travis, have you checked into the gun contest yet? We are on the same team over there too. And we also have Simon08/OH on our team.

yes i did notice. kinda blows we can only shoot one buck here in MN - so only one team will benefit.

or if we shoot our first with a bow - post here, can a second go to the rifle contest?

Hey Travis, if we get one with the bow, couldnt we still shoot a buck during gun season if we are party hunting, and enter that one in the gun contest?

From what i can tell, if you shoot it and it has a legal tag - it counts(as long as it is one of the firts 2 bucks you shoot).

Good Luck hunting ND, even though you are not on my team I hope you get that 170 on the ground. I wish I was going with but I will have to settle for goose hunting. There is a field filled with about 80 every day right behind the house that I have permission for.

I had a pretty hectic day with work yesterday, but while our one son was practice, and the other was at work, the wife and I ran to the lease. We hopped on the four wheeler, checked some last minute spots that I want to hang stands, and just cruised around for a little while. It was nice to get out for a while. Later we both got a good laugh when my wife said "I can tell season is getting close. We had the house to ourselves and the first thing that came to your mind was running to the lease."

hey - if anyone can adjust the thermostat for ND, that would be great. they are talking mid to upper 80's. At least the beer will be cold.

Hey Brett, sounds like you had a great time. I know any time in the woods is great. Good Luck in ND Travis! I will be praying for some cold weather for you.
