I hunt in late april for 5 days. Dont remember the dates yet. I will be ok, I have shot a couple of nice ones in the last couple years. Last year was 24 lb double beard with over 1 inch spurs, the one before that toped the scale at 25 lb.

good deal Teejay. Im working out a deal to be able to hunt a farm 1/2 mile from my house, if I can, it would be Bowhunting only. Ill know more by the end of this week but hunting here would enable me to hunt every morning of the week. I drive by it daily just to scout and see upwards of 100 turkey in an adjoining bean field. Saw 12 toms in one day in that field. The woods I want to hunt are directly across the river from the bean field, and im 99% positive that they roost on my side of the river.

Any team name is fine with me, and I just realized, I'll be turkey hunting in AL in less than 3 weeks now.

Just picked up a DB Matrix today, should aid in my attempt at bowhunting these birds. Will still probably hunt with no blind in some setups, there is ample vegetation to hide behind.

Went driving around this am, lost count at 72 turkey in 1 flock out in a old bean field. This field is next to my acreage.
