Default Week 2 discussion

I guess the bubble popped. I dropped 10 points with 2 shots at 40 yards this evening. Popping the 20 yard ones in the 5 is no problem as I shoot 5-spots indoors all winter. But the group starts to stretch at 30 and it gets really hard to hold on the dot with a hunting sight at 40; at least that's how it seems to me.

What orderare you other guys shooting this league? I do all 10 shots at 20 yards first, then do 30, then 40.

I shoot 5@40; 5@30; 5@20. Then repeat

I think it helps me to break it up this way;
I tend to hurry and I feel this makes me take more time
by going back and forth on the distance. Don"t know if it really
helps or not, but if I feel it does, well then thats good enough !

Well, I had the best day shooting yet! Just one
of those days where everything seemed just right.
The weather was finally nice; 60 with no humidity.
It has been so humid the last 2 or 3 weeks here,
every time I shot ,I had to wipe the sweat offmy
face or else it would get in my eyes. Couldn"t believe
I started with a 25-3X from 40yds. Talk about putting
pressure on myself. I knoe you guys have posted higher
scores but I'm pretty darned happy with this round!!

Good shooting Oldvt! I'd kill for that score right now. With these targets anything above 140 is pretty stellar in my opinion. Seriously 2 inches separates you from a 5 and a 0. You really have to concentrate on this target.

Nice shooting there, oldvt.

Right you are, j-sox; not does 2" separate a 5 from a 0, I found out that 1/8" gives you a 0 instead of a 3.
