No excuses from me.
I hunted hard
I had the best bow season of my life AND I tookmy best bow buck ......so far. My season ended today. I'm happy with the outcome.

I could get 2 deer. I got one with muzzleloader for the meat and the 2nd... Well after seeing pics of a 170 inch deer, you tend to get really picky. After the pickyness wore off all the bucks dissapeared. Even the little ones.[:@]Smart little buggers.

I don't need an excuse... I hunted hard and shot the ONLY buck I saw all season, a spike....

I cant say a word because I shot the first buck I saw this year on opening day......09/27/08! Shot the first doe I saw this year come to think of it. First doe shot in the morning first buck in the evening.
