Hey team,

So I am off to Ohio Wednesday morning. Probably not going to post again, but, sounds like there are 4-5 great deer on camera and my friends place. Wish me luck, and with hope I will post something on Sunday when I return.

well boys put one down for team rack attack.. i finally got one after hours and hours of long sitting.. i shot it sunday afternoon about 6:45 at 35 yards.. its a nice 8 with a 16 inch spread.. but thick and tall.. ill send pics in a bit

I believe you have to have your bow in the pics for the contest so I hope you took some! By the way beautiful buck! Yes I read the contest rules and you must have the whole deer and your bow in the pic otherwise they won't count It for the contest.

Here is rule #7

7. You must have a pictured posted on the contest page within the Official Score Card thread to enter a deer. The bow must be in the picture and the entire deer must be in the picture, no skull pictures, no rack pictures...the buck, the bow, and yourself must be in the picture.....call me skeptical. This rule will be enforced this year, no exceptions with no apologies.

Rule #10

10. The entry must be posted within 10 days of taking it OR notification must be made to the team, team captain, participating moderator or admin that an animal is down with description to determine that a participant isn't holding out for a better animal. This is not fair for single tag states nor those that cannot travel and hunt multiple states. The first antlered animal must be counted.

hey thanks alot guys, but sorry to get your hopes up, I dont think my buck is going to count. I didn't think to put my bow in the pic-- In fact I completely forgot until now that that was part of the rules. But I had set my bow and pack(s) down on the field edge before I went into the woodsand completely forgot to put my bow in the pics. the contest was the last thing on my mind after all the stuff I went through finding this dude! Sorry guys!!!

hey guys. my computer has a virus and crashed about a week ago. cant get the darn thing fixed either

i am in the same boat as u englum.. u kno i really didnt realize that the bow had to be in the picture.. and i honestly didnt even have a camera in the woods and my cam trakker camera was dead.. wtf do i do im really mad now.. o man. and when i scored him it came to be somewheres between 139 but it is bein done by my friend who is actually mountin it as well ill let u kno the actual score

You know man that sucks, we'd have a decent team score going, somewhere in the 250+ range between our two deer. Oh well, I guess they aren't making exceptions though.

Hey guys...well, hopefully this one should help us out. I took this guy on Friday (10/3)afternoon in Ohio on my annual hunt. Two years in a row from the same stand at my buddys farm. It sits along a cornfield just into the wood line (can't really see from the pictures). He came down at about 6PM accompanied by another nice buck, but he was definitely larger. My Elite put a hurting on him quartering towards me. I will put up a post on the main site, but today is my wedding anniversary so need to tend some family business. Thanks everyone....yea, great deer. He is one of my better deer. Ohio is such a great state for whitetails right now. If you have a spot like I do, it is close to a lock.

Congrats on your deer anyways englum & Barth. I know, when your all jacked up from your kill, this playful little contest is usually the last thing you think of. Don't beat yourselves up over it....besides, you two just killed dandy bucks I would be happy with. If our whole team took nice bucks and we all forgot to take a picture with our bows, we might finish in last place, but I can bet we would be the happiest d*mn team around...lol. The rule is understandable....but it isn't anything to revolve your life around.

Mike, awesome Ohio buck. Congrats. I would be tickled with him also. Very nice.
